OHHSIT! on Love this Valentine



Valentine's Day always gets me in the nostalgic mood with thoughts of the loved ones. I figure since the day is about love why not have a custom piece of furniture made to commemorate it?

This chair from OHHSIT! stopped me dead in my internet surfing tracks. The designer, Britten Goetz, made the chair for her daughter as a way to keep her connected with her grandmother and great-grand mother who recently passed away.

What can I say except this is an absolutely brilliant idea and such a great way to personalize furniture. This is one of those pieces that I'm sure will be passed down from generation to generation paying homage to her loved one for years to come.
